Do you have background working in marketing and previous travel industry experience?
My client is a successful tour operator based in The City of London are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager. As a Marketing Manager you will oversees the execution of marketing initiatives including partnership marketing, brochure production, print advertising, and overall brand messaging. You will lead in the development and implementation of the overall marketing strategy in all channels in conjunction with the marketing, sales and product teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Develops and manages the overall plan for marketing, communications, social, online, and traditional media for all existing and future brands in all channels of distribution
*Oversees all retail partnerships (travel agent, media and associations)
*Oversees all affiliate marketing partnerships
*Analyzes all customer activities to improve conversion rate
*Manages marketing budget
*Manages day-to-day campaign planning, development & execution of marketing activities.
*Works with designers on all aspects of visual marketing needs, including print ads, publications and marketing material
*Oversees the Company's UK public relations initiatives including press releases, advertising, marketing materials and publications
*Manage multiple projects, prioritize work and balance strategic and tactical issues
*There will be a requirement from time to time to work outside normal hours and to attend events such as conferences, educational trips etc during evening hours or over weekend periods.
*Must have an understanding of current marketing concepts, strategies and best practices.
*Must possess excellent project management and planning skills.
*Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills and be able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
*Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with teams to identify, prioritize and deliver on marketing initiatives.
*A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications or related field required.
*5 + Years in Marketing
*Proven relationship sales experience in the travel industry.
*Experience in managing marketing/creative campaigns and launching new marketing programmes, including budget management, data-driven marketing campaigns, and audience segmentation strategies is required.
