This is a superb opportunity to join a privately owned group of hotels situated in South West London where the company prides itself on providing comfortable, well-equipped bedrooms and personal service

The key purpose of this role will be to oversee 4 sites, managing accommodation sales and revenue across the group and developing strategies to continuously outperform the competition

Key Areas of Responsibility will include managing and actively conducting sales activity for the group whilst maximising bedroom revenue through effective management of systems, processes and people. You will also ensure all hotel systems and external booking channels are accurate with correct pricing and up to date information including leading the hotel's weekly and monthly revenue meetings, ensuring that past, present and future business and strategies are reviewed and updated to include:

* average rate
* occupancy
* revpar
* forecasting the period ahead
* business won and new contracts in the pipeline

You will also prepare the daily, weekly and monthly comparison reports for performance, which will include the following:

* to identify new wholesalers to work with and proposed allocations
* to identify rate close out strategies
* to prepare yearly accommodation budgets

Key to this role will be the ability to work with senior management helping to devise, co-ordinate and actively manage and sell corporate rates based on volume of business to include issuing and reviewing contracts, whilst you will also support effective business planning, budgeting and forecasting through strong data analysis and market intelligence. Other duties will include:

* take a lead and give direction to the way the group forecast revenue, prioritise strategies, react to market conditions and process bedroom reservations in order to maximise yield
* ensure all revenue tracking is accurate and timely

* foster relationships with key clients and identify and evaluate new markets/new businesses to target
* work closely with conference and events departments at both hotels to monitor and manage revenues and relationships
* liaise with conference and events' guests including bedroom allocations and pricing
* manage all operations of the reservations department through the reservations agents
* ensure all reservations agents receive appropriate training and foster team morale
* negotiate rates with agents and manage relationships
* work on daily accommodation rates using revenue management to maximise yield
* control all extranets including (url removed), (url removed), last minute and expedia and implement and manage an appropriate channel distribution system
* effectively market to leisure guests to include weekend breaks and other promotions via e-bay and other media
* co-ordinate marketing of accommodation on-line
* working with Conference & Events to update and data-mine data bases
* coordinate e-marketing
* management of outsourced CPC and SEO work
* work with the Directors on marketing campaigns and sales literature
* manage the Hotel's website
* management of eBay
* respond to all customer questionnaires and third party website comments

Primary hours of work will be from 9.00am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday, while there maybe overtime required, when staff are on holiday or absent for another reason
