Sales Team Leader / Supervisor.    Unique in their offering, this luxury brand is part of an International Travel Group that is going through an exciting period of acquisitions, growth and re-positioning within the travel marketplace in the UK. The Sales Team Leader / Supervisor role will see you join one of their outstanding brands in London. They’re looking for an incredibly talented individual with experience of leading a team with a focus on luxury tailor-made sales. This is a fantastic role for an individual looking to take their career to the next level and this is a hugely rewarding role. You will be responsible for leading your sales team to success, with the full support of the General Manager and Directors. Your main focuses will be delivering an outstanding customer service, taking full autonomy of your consultants and most importantly, becoming a mentor to your team to help them with their own development and success.

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the General Manager
  • Act as a role model for company values and the brand
  • Work closely with the GM to establish the level of sales required for each calendar month to meet annual targets
  • Delivering results, including driving individual and business targets as well as achievement set KPIs
  • Inspire, motivate and mentor your sales team, helping them flourish and ensure they reach their potential
  • Hold weekly Sales Huddles to brief and inspire  the team, but also to gain their input with regards to offers, trends, issues etc.
  • Provide each team member with one-to-one review and catch up (or more regularly if performance requires)
  • Support operations in complaint resolution, including regular direct liaison with customers and seeking solution-based outcomes
  • Work with your team on their own Personal Development Plans and set goals for progression and achievement
  • Oversee initial training of new starters and establish a positive, motivated and results-orientated culture to exceed expectations and KPIs
  • Successfully manage the implementation of any new process and procedure

  • Travel industry experience essential with solid experience of leading a travel sales team
  • Being creative to help drive sales, encourage employee engagement leading to a high performance culture
  • Results focused and committed to the values surrounding outstanding service delivery through effective people management
  • The resilience and composure to remain positive under pressure and continually evolving circumstances
  • Strong consultative coaching skills and the strength of personality to motivate and inspire your team
  • Good time management and the organisation to effectively prioritise your teams workloads
  • A good decision maker that portrays excellent influencing skills
  • Ability to manage a high workload, prioritising tasks and delivering to timescales as required by the business
  • Possess a major GDS

The Package & Working Hours:

  • Basic salary is £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, DOE, plus bonus + benefits
  • 25 days (5 weeks) annual leave plus public holidays, including health benefits that include Bupa Dental and Health Insurance
  • Fam Trips
  • Working hours, 9am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Off Street Parking available
