This fantastic opportunity is working for a well-established travel company that has a fantastic product and is an innovative company based in South Devon. In this role will be responsible for managing the day to day running of a team of Sales Advisers, within a contact centre environment and, performance manage them to maximise profits for the business. You will also work alongside other Team leaders to drive sales through being creative, supporting one another to encourage staff engagement across the sales department which leads to a high performance culture - and much much more!!
JOB DESCRIPTION * Work with Resource Planning to ensure staffing levels are utilised to full potential via work plan adherence. * Participate in recruitment and induction activities including the end of probationary periods. * Update team on performance and business information through team meetings and other communications channels * Handle and resolve barriers to sale through monitoring and feedback * Being creative to help drive sales, encourage staff engagement leading to a high performance culture. * Ensuring individuals have an understanding and are demonstrating our Brand Values * Working towards developing individuals so planning ahead in relation to getting the best out of them * Participate in the creation and delivery of events surrounding current marketing activity and incentives * Daily monitoring of actual targets for the sales team * Day to day trouble shooting for sales * Planning and arranging team sales training and meetings
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED * Experience in managing a team * Experience in a sales and target driven environment * Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel * High level of interest in travel or previous travel industry experience. * Ability to manage a high workload, prioritising tasks and delivering to timescales as required by the business * Experience managing remote workers is desirable but not essential
