Senior Business Development Manager - NW1 - 30,000 - 35,000 Our client, a prestigious contract caterer is looking for an experienced driven Senior Business Development Manager with strong restaurant experience. To play a key role for its client venues to develop event business. Our client's story started in 1989, from a small office in the front room of a South London flat. From these beginnings the company now operates two divisions, a schools catering division and a luxury, a full service venue management and contract catering business. The role is primarily based at their central sales office, located in NW1, but will also be required to work remotely at venues to develop as the business needs. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: The role is to develop new business for venues and oversee team performance. Supervisory responsibilities of Team of Business Development Managers. New business sourcing including research, profiting of clients and key account management. Pro-active telephone calling, appointment planning, networking, representation at trade shows, new business appointments, client show rounds, quality proposal production and managing negotiation. Handling incoming customer enquiries by various channels i.e. website, email, telephone or face to face contact. Conversion of all available revenue streams and events at all venues. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on sales activities and revenues. Proven sales record in Events and Sales environment. Knowledge of CRM and diary management systems. Experience of delivering presentations A confident communicator Excellent time management and organisational skills. Strong work ethic Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exacting standards and attention to detail.
