Located a short distance from the North Norfolk Coast, our client is currently recruiting a Senior Chef De Partie or a Junior Sous chef to join their team of talented chefs.
Working in a historic and atmospheric environment, this popular venue is a favourite with the locals as well as attracting guests from all over the country looking to experience the delights of the North Norfolk coast. With a bar, restaurant and hotel - there is something for everyone! With covers up to 160 in the Summer, this is a busy and bustling Inn that also caters for functions an events in its restaurant.
As the Senior Chef De Partie/Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to take control of your own section, be able to deputise in the senior chef's absence as well as being able to train junior chefs in the team. You will be covering the lunch and dinner service as breakfast is catered for by other members of the kitchen team.
Previous experience working with fresh food is essential for this role as the Head chef is passionate about making full use of the great local produce available and changing the menu to make use of the freshest ingredients available. The menu is inspired by classic British dishes but given an international twist to bring something special and creative to the table.
This role involves a mixture of straight and split shifts, with a typical working week comprising of 45+ hours. Accommodation is also available for this role.
