A Senior Customer Support Executive is wanted by an award-winning luxury adventure travel company to join a busy and vibrant in-house operations team. The ideal candidate will have some experience of working for a tour operator in an operations/administration capacity. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for their first step into a managerial position.  

The key responsibilities for the Senior Customer Support Executive are:

  • Providing direction and assistance to more junior members of the team
  • Supervising the Client Support Department, when the Client Support Manager is not available
  • Checking invoices and preparing supporting documentation
  • Managing flight allocations
  • Ensuring pre and post tour extensions have been confirmed
  • Creating and checking all Private Travel itineraries
  • Preparing and sending out confirmation invoices for all bookings
  • Preparing all clients’ tour itineraries and travel documents, ensuring all flight tickets are issued and sent to clients to meet the required deadlines
  • Assist with data loading as and when required

The key skills required for the Senior Customer Support Executive are:

  • Organised, accurate and methodical
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Experience of dealing with the needs of different internal departments
  • Computer literate, thorough knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Experience of using a GDS would be preferential  
  • Experience of travel overseas and knowledge of a range of destinations would be preferential
