Senior Sales Manager for Scandinavia is required by a prestigious travel company that offers all-inclusive ground handling services throughout the UK, Ireland and USA. As the Nordics Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing business in the Scandinavia market, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and exceeding agreed upon financial targets. The ideal candidate has experience working for an inbound tour operator, is fluent in Swedish and is knowledgeable in the UK and Ireland.

As a Senior Sales Manager you will:     

  • Be responsible for increasing awareness and business within your markets for the company
  • Generate a proactive yearly sales strategy for Scandinavia based on agreed financial targets
  • Effectively increase the company’s market share by maintaining and building relationships with key clients and creating new strategical partnerships
  • Lead and be the face of the company in your market at trade fairs
  • Build strong working relationships with BDM’s and operations teams, to ensure that quotes are in line with client’s expectations
  • Ensure that the team offers are within budget and sent out in a timely manner
  • Be responsible for ensuring market share growth and be conscious when clients are using the company less and to be pro-active in finding the cause
  • Assist in determining financial targets for your area of expertise

The Senior Sales Manager is:

  • Fluent in English and Swedish
  • Well-connected in the Scandinavian market of expertise and has 5 years’ experience working for an inbound tour operator
  • Knowledgeable in the UK and Ireland and is willing to learn about the USA as a destination
  • Able to maintain and build relations with key stakeholders and team members
  • Financially aware and has excellent numerical skills
  • Able to communicate effectively and is persuasive at all levels
  • Target driven and able to work under pressure whilst keeping to set deadlines
  • Able to travel with the UK and to your designated markets
