I am working on behalf of a well known catering company which is looking for a Staffing Manager to assist the senior staffing team and payroll in Surrey. This role is suitable for someone who has experience with high volume recruitment / scheduling people to various locations.
Tasks: . Managing the staffing and training plan within the location and contribute with recruitment activities . Maintenance of training administration in line with staffing and location procedures . Lead both your team and Zero Hours staff by communicating and motivating individuals effectively toward achievement and objectives . Booking all hourly paid staff and ensure the appropriate quantity and the best possible quality of staff are booked accordingly . Dealing with HR related matters e.g. grievance, disciplinary etc. . Produce accurate forecast and actual variable payroll analysis . Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
Profile: . At least 2 years similar experience gained in a commercial environment, Event/Catering desired . Demonstrable experience in recruitment and training for zero hours employees . Ability to lead others and delegate effectively . Strong people management skills . Diplomacy, discretion and impartiality of judgment . Payroll Management and/or Budgeting experience is essential . Perceptive leader with a real passion for building a strong team . Exceptional attention to detail throughout all areas of operations . Flexible to change and able to react very quickly to the change . Ability to think on the spot and outside the box . Excellent communicating and people skills . Excellent administrative and organisational skills
