Reservations Canada- Tailor Made Reservations Executive, Up to £28k plus comm OTE £55k, London
Tailor Made Reservations Consultant required to help create and sell itineraries and provide a full designer tailor made itinerary to discerning travellers. You will be utilising all aspects of the quote template and selecting the most appropriate flights, accommodation and excursions. He/she will calculate an appropriate selling price which also represents value for money for the client. He /she will send out the itinerary to the clients in a timely manner and ensure the presentation is in line with our client’s high standards. You will revise the itinerary in line with the client’s feedback and ensure all re-versions are accurately costed prior to sending to the client. He/she will take appropriate opportunities to up-sell and sell the preferred products and employ appropriate sales techniques to ‘close’ the sale, including ensuring you make follow up calls and ask for the business. You will ensure each booking has a booking form and an appropriate deposit secures against it and take full ownership (and pride) for the quality and accuracy of the itinerary throughout the pre-sale process. You will offer post sale administration and once an itinerary has been confirmed and a booking form received and ensure that all services are booked with the appropriate suppliers you will be promptly hand over the booking file to the ticketing Team and ensuring the hand-over procedure is strictly adhered to - and enter sale onto the sales board. He/she will act as single point of contact for the client until they depart on their travels, being accountable for all our administration interaction. He/she will make amendments, alterations and update the booking as appropriate and inform the client of any changes in a timely manner. You will cross check content checking for accuracy against what has been booked - and the presentation of the final itinerary and accompanying literature which is posted out to the client several. He/she will communicate and ensure good communication channels remain open between you and your colleagues – particularly sharing product information with team members. You will ensure best practice is followed and generally comply with all standard company procedures during the entire sales process and for all non-converted itineraries make a real attempt .to sell . This is a very varied role and you will be sent on an educational and ensure tasks such as downloading photographs and naming them, producing and presenting a report for your colleagues, thanking suppliers for hospitality received. He/she will ensure the sales and service momentum is maintained on these files as if they were your own and the production of product text for the JourneyDesk database. You will maintain a positive relationship with all ground agents and demonstrate knowledge of product, costs and client feedback within your programme and contribute to marketing collateral and attend industry events such as exhibitions when requested by the Programme Manager.
