Tailor Made Reservations Manager, up to £35k plus comm, Surrey.
A Tailor Made Reservations Manager is required to deliver excellent sales and service results through a team of dedicated destination specialists ensuring maximum yield and profitability and an increase in levels of repeat and recommended business.
You will focus on the day to day performance management within your team (including support, guidance and motivation, training and development). You will ensure that your team have a full in-depth knowledge of the products they are selling and that they are always maintaining the highest possible standards of customer service. You will oversee the day to day workload of the team, ensuring that all sales enquiries and operational processes (including booking reports/manifests) are completed within the required time-frames and continuously monitor staff performance and training needs and provide guidance and on-going coaching to develop and motivate the team. You will conduct annual staff appraisals to effectively review performance and set future staff development/business goals and targets (KPI’s) and follow up with quarterly reviews to monitor performance/development and document discussions for on-going review. You will when necessary, assist with booking enquiries, sales and reservations and provide first point line management support to the Tailor Made team and manage holiday / shifts / lieu time and saturday rota to ensure sufficient cover across the team. You will ensure that the Tailor Made reservations team are exceeding the expectations of our clients and that they are achieving levels of outstanding customer service at all stages of the process to engender repeat business and ensure the destination specialists are fully able to maximise sales and yield from the initial enquiries and that they actively seek to generate new leads when incoming enquires may be insufficient.
To be considered for the position you would need to be educated to Degree level or equivalent and have previous experience of working at a management level within a luxury / tailor made travel environment. Previous experience in managing a sales team with the ability to motivate, train and develop staff with excellent written and communication skills. This is a great opportunity for the right manager
