OTE £30,000


Sunmaster are an online travel company based in Halifax. Our Sales agents proactively sell and cross sell holiday packages.We require an experienced Team Leader to manage a team of sales agents. You will be responsible for ensuring your team are selling holidays at the required volume, conversion rate, speed and profit margin, through proactive monitoring of calls and statistics.


You will manage a team of 10 agents and will supervise and manage the call centre floor on a rotational basis. The role requires supervision, encouragement, coaching and development of your team in order to meet profit targets and achieve required revenue.To do this you will break down targets, delegate to your team and monitor performance.


You will deliver daily morning briefs to the team, encourage, motivate and discipline employees where required.Duties include holding weekly one to ones with employees to enable effective performance management and to allow discussions for development. In addition you will delegate workload and emails to Sales Agent and monitor their progress.


The role


You will work an average of 40 hours per week. Shifts are on a 2 week rotational basis. Week 1 is early shifts with a weekend in and week 2 would is late shifts with a weekend off. Evening shifts end at 10pm Mon- Fri and 9pm on weekends.


We offer a salary of £18000 with OTE potential of £30,000. Bonus is achieved and paid monthly.


Job Requirements:


You will lead by example by taking sales calls and making bookings


Have a minimum of 12 months experience coaching a team of individuals


Have experience within a call centre or sales background


Experience working in a targeted environment


Travel industry experience is advantageous


Basic PC skills


Maths and English GCSE grade C or above or equivalent


Attention to detail and ability to accurately record information


Ability to work under pressure


Excellent verbal and written communication skills
