Company Fusion Limited is working with a well established group of country house hotels with unique character and historic charm based in idyllic countryside settings. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Temporary Reception Manager to join their busy team based in Moreton-in-Marsh. This is a 6 month maternity cover contract with the potential to move premises and to a permanent role following the end of the maternity cover.

The Package - What You Could Earn:

-Basic salary 21,000 - 23,000 pro rata

Temporary Reception Manager - Main Duties and Responsibilities:

-This is an ideal position for an enthusiastic candidate with previous hotel reception management experience to join a fantastic team
-Manage the operational areas of the reception including rotas and management reporting
-Work independently and supervising others in the reception area whilst sustaining and driving standards of operation and service at all times
-Work with your team to achieve financial targets
-Ensure that the switchboard is staffed at all times and that all calls are answered professionally and efficiently
-Ensure everyone in the reception maintains hotel standards of operation at all times
-Ensure that any complaints from customers are dealt with promptly and passed to the appropriate managers
-Ensure that all reservations are correctly processed

The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

-This role will require outstanding customer service skills, fantastic attention to detail, and your consistently professional and friendly approach
-You must have previous experience of working within a hotel reception at a supervisory/management level, and knowledge of hotel reservations systems
-You should also have good sales ability, an approachable manner, and knowledge of the MS Office suite
-In addition to your excellent customer service skills, you should be a punctual and reliable team player with strong communication skills, a self driven approach, and a positive can do attitude
