Ticketing and Quality Control (QC) Executive – Salary Up To £18k

We have an immediate opportunity for a Ticketing and Quality Control (QC) Executive to join one of the UK’s leading Travel Management Companies. The purpose of the Ticketing and QC Executive role is to is to assist the Projects, Data, Change and Innovation Team in the planning, testing and rollout of new innovations and projects and keep all relevant documentation updated.

Key Areas of Responsibility of the Ticketing and QC Executive role:

  • Provide Quality Control (QC) of the ticketing reservation bookings using QC mid office applications
  • Be proactive in identifying new QC procedures to improve those already in place
  • Explore Operations & Business Development suggestions for process improvement/new functionality
  • Act as the internal point of contact in relation to system processes/functionality and maintain system user guides
  • Understand the capabilities of 3rd party systems, eg. Conferma, tRIPS, Evolvi, liaise with suppliers when necessary and keep abreast of revisions to their existing/introduction of new products
  • Analyse daily/weekly monitoring reports; for example; data quality, no-PNR reports to identify the source of errors and omissions and flag areas for remediation
  • Assist the Team with new functionality and regression testing
  • Help prepare training materials with the operational team when revisions to process are implemented

Key Measures of the Ticketing and QC Executive role are:

  • Delivering accurate customer billing and MI
  • Improvements in automation and data quality
  • Pro-active engagement with Senior Management, Managers and key 3rd parties
  • Successful implementation of specified changes into the production environment
  • Strengthening Redfern’s overall understanding of key IT systems and business processes through clear, accurate and up to date documentation and proactive personal development of self and others
  • Improved communications and wider business awareness of changes in the pipeline and live environment

Key Requirements of the Ticketing and QC Executive role are:

  • A good understanding of booking systems, queues and processes
  • An analytical mind; keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with people of all levels both internally/externally
  • A good understanding of and the ability to provide customer service excellence and effective teamwork

The Ticketing and QC Executive role would suit a candidate with attention to detail interested in a mid office role. role will be responsible for dealing with a variety of enquiries and responding to them using effective communication, whilst identifying and engaging with the key stakeholders involved.
