Our client is looking for an experienced ticketing consultant with a good knowledge of at least one GDS. They are a very exciting company within the travel industry and this role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within travel and gain invaluable knowledge and experience.

 

Job Responsibilities

·         Issuing and reissuing airline tickets

·         Dealing with telephone enquiries in a helpful and timely manner

·         Meet ticket deadlines

·         Collate daily BSP and accounting documents

·         General admin tasks

·         Be open to offer assistance to fellow colleagues

·         Attend training sessions and meetings as and when required

·         Maintain a good quality of working relationships with all departments

Skills/Experience

·         A high quality of knowledge and experience in using a GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus or Worldspan)

·         Knowledge of airline contracts, GDS ticket rules and CAT35

·         Ability to work well within a team

·         Attention to detail

·         Be numerically capable

·         Good problem-solving skills

·         Ability to multitask and work to deadlines

·         Enthusiastic

·         Able to prioritise

·         Pleasant and professional

·         Being able to decipher airline contracts and being able to transfer details to tickets issued
