Ticketing Consultant – Long Haul Tour Operator
North West London
£24000 + £ up to £3000 annual bonus

My client, a long established privately owned award winning tour operator is seeking an experienced Ticketing Consultant.
This is an excellent opportunity to forge a long term career with a company who are busier than ever offering an excellent supportive environment.

Previous ticketing experience is essential and applicants can come from a Tour Operations, airline or business travel background.

Ticketing Consultant role and duties:

To carry out all ticketing on a day to day basis and within travel and fare deadlines.
Daily and Monthly BSP (including ADMs, ACMs and refunds
To monitor and report upon published fares to ensure maximum profitability.
Maintain close liaison with Reservations colleagues on issues relating to bookings.
Manage an information system, database and back office.
Ensure all issues relating to ticketing comply with best practice and legal requirements.
Participate in other activities undertaken by the department and liaise with all other departments as needed.
Effectively contribute towards strategy developments.
Monitor and communicate Airline schedule changes and flight cancellations.

Ticketing Consultant Experience REQUIRED:

My client is looking for an experienced Ticketing Consultant, with solid knowledge of GDS, nett fares and fare builds. The successful candidate will be well organised and able to work to deadlines.
Appreciation of the ticketing activity in the travel industry and Reservations Department.
Knowledge of a major GDS/CRS system
Knowledge of BSP Auditing and Reporting is essential.
Knowledge of Issuing IT, BT and Group Tickets is essential.
IATA Ticketing level 1 & 2 is essential.
Microsoft Office 2000.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, prioritise and co-ordinate tasks.
Numerate with ability to interpret data.
Ability to persuade and negotiate.

Ticketing Consultant Remuneration:

Base Salary £24,000
Bonus potential of £3,000
20 days holidays rising by 1 for every year of service to a max of 25
