Ticketing & Sales Support Coordinator – London – Up To £22k

We are recruiting for a Ticketing & Sales Support Coordinator on behalf of our client who are a Global retail tour operator. The Ticketing & Sales Support Coordinator will provide excellent support to the Global Sales Team and Partners worldwide with regard to all travel related matters

The Repsonsibilities of the Ticketing & Sales Support Coordinator are:

  • Dealing with Travel Partners on a wide range of issues and meeting their service expectations
  • Offering a proactive solution for Travel Partners to enable them to offer the best solution for the passenger
  • Escalate recurring issues, and suggest proposals for changing current processes
  • Provide ticketing for Travel Partners
  • Quality control tickets issuance and ticketing matching processes
  • Ensure timely data hand-off to Finance Team
  • BSP Reconciliation
  • Other activities and back-up within Global Partners including product loading support
  • Support of Sales Team as and when required
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested

Experience required for the Ticketing & Sales Support Coordinator is:

  • A minimum 1 year’s experience in issuing tickets within the travel industry and IATA experience
  • Strong Amadeus GDS knowledge essential
  • Ability to read and understand airline tickets and fare related terms and conditions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Be able to analyse issues and offer clear, uncomplicated explanations to queries
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial acumen is a benefit to this role
  • Computer literate (including knowledge of Excel, internet, email and Word)
  • Preferably the ability to speak Italian, as well as English, although not essential
  • Use own initiative
  • Constructively work in a team environment with a positive attitude
