Responsible for the successful and profitable planning and operation of all elements of clients’ tours throughout the confirmed booking process.

 

Key Objectives:

 

                    Responsible for the day to day planning of all elements of a tour including itinerary planning, customer invoicing, ticketing and final documentation

                    Use effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and exceed their expectations

                    Ensure accurate, customer friendly documentation is sent to clients and suppliers in a timely manner

                    Actively seek out customer feedback and make use of this to constantly improve our services and our customers’ ever-changing needs

                    Understand the needs of customers and work to simplify the tour booking process wherever possible

                    Sustainable Growth: responsible for delivering growth & profitability

                    Maintain a good, up to date knowledge of key visits and optional extras for each destination to add value and margin wherever possible

                    Build long term relationships and maximise the retention of clients through excellent customer service and product delivery

                    Minimise the impact of issues and implement improvements to ensure they are avoided wherever possible

                    Ensure the timely collection of due payments to maximise cash flow

                    Teamwork: make a positive contribution to developing a winning team

                    Make a positive contribution to the Operations Team, providing support to other team members where appropriate

                    Encourage collaborative and supportive working practices across the wider team, both within our client and beyond

                    Work closely with the Product & Marketing Team to research, identify/add new visits and/or products to our portfolio and generate ideas for marketing and promotional activity

                    Build good working relations with external suppliers regarding accommodation, transport and visits

                    Participate in any training, activities or projects on a temporary or ad hoc basis to support the achievement of business aims and objectives

                    Visits to suppliers/clients in the UK and Overseas to give you first hand knowledge of the product

                    You will be required to assist with 24 hour duty officer responsibilities on an occasional basis
