A well-established and much respected ethical tour operator are looking for a Trade Sales Co-ordinator to join their award winning team.  As Trade Sales Co-ordinator you will support the team on the administration of all Indirect Trade Sales business - pitches, contracts, mailings, shows and programmes, as well as contribute proactively to gaining indirect sales with support on outgoing sales calls, exhibiting and meeting trade partners.

 As Trade Sales Co-ordinator you will:


  • Administer new contacts for new clients from first approach pitches, to contracts and delivering any further programme requirements and any cancellations – and recording all these on a central database
  • Ensure that all Trade partners are set up in the reservation system
  • Liaise with the Reservation team and Product teams with bookings made, requirements needed and any other queries on a daily basis
  • Arrange FAM trips for Group and Trade partners with the appropriate shareholders
  • Create and distributing the monthly Trade enews
  • Arrange attendance at Trade shows including bookings, travel arrangements, meeting appointments and preparation & delivery of sales material to the venue
  • Arrange the Coach Touring programme for inbound operators – quotes, dates, contracts, booking coaches, tour leaders, HFH accommodation, handling cancellation
  • Mail new sales prospects as required
  • Monitor all payments from Trade partners, ensuring that the correct commission is paid, using agreed methods and that invoices are paid by each partner.
  • Proactively gain indirect sales with outgoing sales calls, exhibiting at shows and meeting indirect sales partners if required

The successful Trade Sales Co-ordinator will have previous experience of working for a busy travel company.  It will suit someone who has experience of working in Customer Service, Administration, Operations or Reservations role looking to advance their career in a trade B2B support role.  As Trade Sales Co-ordinator you will be bursting with initiative who wants to contribute proactively, but who also finds immense satisfaction with setting up and managing efficient administration systems.
