Job Role:

You will be responsible for reporting on sales activity, organising company events and educational trips, management of the brochure and arranging training for new members of the sales team.

Responsibilities:

·         Prepare and deliver sales reports and provide analysis on these reports

·         Monitor the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback to the sales manager and head of department

·         Arrange and coordinate travel agent events

·         Provide support to the on the road sales team

·         Keep in touch with agent partners throughout campaigns to boost effectiveness

·         Attend shows and training events

·         Keep travel partners up to date with special offers

·         First point of call for requests on promotional material, brochures and marketing support  

·         Stock take of brochures

·         Arrange webinar training with partners or agents

Experience:

·         Knowledge of the Caribbean, Mexico, Indian Ocean and the Middle East

·         Strong understanding of retail travel and tour operators

·         Analytical and organised

·         Strong communicator with the ability to comfortably speak with suppliers

·         Interest and knowledge of various social media sites

·         Stay on top of industry developments

·         Already established contacts and relationships within Travel Agents desirable

·         Prior experience in business development beneficial

·         Confidence in presenting to groups

·         Good at building a strong rapport with airlines, travel agents, tourist boards and hotels

Hours:

Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm with the occasional evening
