My client, a privately-owned travel company based in south Essex is seeking a Trade Sales Support Executive. This is a challenging and exciting position which will involve working to administrative deadlines and sales targets, representing the company at outside promotional events involving occasional weekends and overnights. Full training will be provided including an insight into the company's marketing and communication strategy and a full product overview.

THE JOB:

*Processing all trade enquires including brochure requests, promotional materials and marketing support requests.
*Forging relationships with travel trade partners
*Running weekly trade sales reports and analysing all sales activities
*Ensuring all data is loaded onto the trade database.
*Proofing of all marketing materials from Tour Operators and Travel Agents
*Organise, administer and attend all trade visit/Fam Trip programmes
*Produce weekly offer updates for key partners.
*Update key partner systems with special offers.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

*Previous experience within the travel industry is preferred
*Strong analytical and organisational skills
*Must be able to work under their own initiative plus manage and prioritise their workload
*A strong communicator
*A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Email
*Full driving license

THE PACKAGE:

In return the successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £17,500 - £18,00 along with excellent benefits and opportunities for personal and professional development.

HOURS:

*Standard office hours are Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.30hrs - Although this is only occasionally, evening and weekend work may be required to cover promotional events, exhibitions and press days ( a day off in lieu will be provided)
