Training Manager – NW London – Up to £40k

Training Manager is required by a successful travel company to be responsible for the training programme strategy and delivery.  You will work closely with senior stakeholders of this growing company to plan and coordinate training to ensure employees are equipped with the right skills and knowledge to be their best selves in their roles.

As Training Manager you will be:

  • Determining training needs and requirements by meeting with managers, HR and Staff and analysing staff surveys
  • Liaising with external partners to outsource training
  • Ability to present face to face and online training sessions and /or hire qualified personnel to do so
  • Overseeing and revising training programmes which include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos and more
  • Reviewing existing training material and modifying or creating course material and training manuals to meet specific training needs
  • Gathering feedback from trainees and trainers after each session and assessing the impact of training on employees’ performance
  • Preparing cost reports for each learning programme and return on investment
  • Developing leadership programmes for future senior managers
  • Maintaining and teaching knowledge of training techniques and new educational methods
  • Conducting effective induction and orientation sessions

The successful Training Manager will have:

  • Proven work experience as a training manager
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programmes
  • Being familiar with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job, classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc.)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong writing and record keeping skills for reports and training manuals
  • Good computer and database skills
