Do you have accounts experience? Looking to combine your accounts experience and travel knowledge? This specialist travel company based in Bradford is seeking an Travel Accounts Assistant that has ideally worked in the travel industry to deal with all accounting, bank reconciliations and payments.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRAVEL ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT: * Apply the payments, which have arrived, onto the System and Excel and inform each department of payments received. * Bank reconciliation on excel chart for the Agency's bank accounts. * Process the credit card payments with the same procedure as cheques i.e. onto the System and Excel, and send messages to the Sales Department with all details. * Responsible for all sales ledger and invoicing * Ability to work within a team environment yet focus on your key tasks. * Dealing with all Direct Debit Control.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * The successful candidate must come from a Travel agency accounts background with preferred knowledge of GDS. * Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft excel and outlook. * Good communication skills (written and spoken) to deal with customers enquires by
