Travel and Tourism - Operations / Administration Executive


An operations/ administration executive is required to join the  operations /administration team of established Travel and Tourism operator 

  • To thoroughly check all contents of the ticket wallets before despatch to clients, ensuring that every detail is correct (maps, itinerary, rail tickets, flight bookings)
  • To inform reservations and other staff of any errors/issues arising from the checking of documentation
  • Reconfirming hotels for late bookings
  • To decide which method of postal service should be used to despatch documentation
  • Assisting with invoice checking during staff holidays/shortages and during peak periods
  • Ad hoc administration and sales tasks as required


Knowledge/Skills required:

  • Precision and attention to detail
  • Excellent and thorough product knowledge
  • Experience of Amadeus (or similar) and Elga


You should have an understanding of reservations and GDS experience. Attention to detail is vital, in addition to the ability to prioritise. Flexibility and commitment are also important, as well as the willingness to learn  On average the person in this role would check and invoice approximately 30 bookings per day with the ability to  increase their output during the peak seasons. During quieter booking periods they would assist with checking invoices and other various admin duties.
