My client, a leading specialist travel company with operations in 23 countries, is seeking an experienced travel BDM to join their growing team based in London.

Travel BDM key duties include:

  • Establish and grow contacts within travel companies
  • Up selling to maximise revenue on products sold
  • Identifying, cold-calling and pitching to new clients around the world
  • Meeting clients face-to-face and presenting to them
  • Account manage relationships with travel companies
  • Create written proposals and marketing plans where required for clients
  • Visit and participate in any relevant seminars/ conferences/ exhibitions/ networking, social events for the travel industry to meet potential clients in the UK and overseas
  • Up selling to maximise revenue on products sold
  • To efficiently perform all administrative duties associated with the role


Travel BDM Skills Required:

  • Successful consultative selling experience
  • Strong business development experience
  • Experienced in pitching and closing at a Director / CEO level
  • Previous Travel Industry relationship contacts in the UK and/ or overseas
  • Excellent written communication skills, including formal proposal writing
  • Extensive knowledge of the travel industry
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Travel BDM Remuneration:

  • Basic Salary – from £30000
  • Excellent Commission structure
