A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Travel Call Centre Supervisor to join this award willing worldwide Tour Operator based in Surrey. If you have previous team leading or supervisor experience within a tailor-made travel sales background then this may be the perfect next step in your career.
This role involves helping support the call centre of 8-10 tailor-made consultants, along with working within the reservations team yourself.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who is used to achieving and exceeding their own personal targets, whilst helping lead and motivate the sales team.
Tailor-made sales background is essential along with worldwide destination knowledge. GDS knowledge is essential (Amadeus preferred).
JOB DESCRIPTION: *To assist the Call Centre Manager in leading and motivating a small call centre team of 8-10 tailor-made consultants *To be supportive to staff and encourage teamwork in a friendly, positive working environment *To improve efficiency of performance by identifying areas of improvement and deliver/arrange the appropriate coaching and training required *To act as a role model to staff by achieving and exceeding own personal sales targets
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: *Strong tailor-made travel sales with extensive knowledge of long-haul products *Previous team leader or supervisor experience within the travel industry *Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well within a team *To have a positive work ethic, to be approachable and encouraging to staff *GDS knowledge is essential (Amadeus preferred)
THE PACKAGE: The successful candidate can expect an attractive salary package of up to £28k + a fantastic commission structure with uncapped earning.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 0930-1800 Saturday Sundayhigh season only) Mid-week high season shifts up to 1930 (week days only)
