Travel  Co- Ordinator 

An organised and enthusiastic Travel Sales Co- Ordinator is required to join our clients team .  This is a wide-ranging role incorporating varied administrative tasks which are integral to the smooth running of holiday sales and operations. The role encompasses a range of tasks designed to assist the sales team  to focus on generating sales and general efficiency. In addition to assisting with the sales coordinating, the role will also include assisting in running the small office with vital administrative tasks. Accuracy is critical to this position ensuring the client receives a seamless level of support and service throughout their engagement . whilst not a requirement, the role serves as an ideal entry point into subsequent positions within either sales or operations for those considering their career path.

•             Assist where necessary to enable the sales team to achieve their team targets and to bring in bookings

•             Confirm all services on behalf of the sales team

•             Generate, check and format confirmation documentation for all bookings generally aiming for 24-48-hour turnaround 

•             Liaise with the operations team on all relevant areas

•             Assist the sales manager with any reporting requirements necessary

•             Support the sales team with booking amends and questions at times they are absent

•             Liaise directly with clients regarding any involuntary changes to bookings and offer alternatives

•             Maximising every opportunity to upsell and proactively offer additional services

•             Take payments on behalf of the sales team where necessary

•             Request invoices from suppliers and check costs against the bookings before sending to Accounts to ensure they are paid on time

•             Managing final balance payments to ensure they are received on time from the client

•             Being exceptionally thorough and accurate in checking all client documentation.  Attention to detail is imperative

•             Take responsibility for problem solving in a professional and diplomatic manner to maintain customer service levels

•             Office management tasks such as ordering stationary and organising maintenance to machinery when required


•             Adhere to hours of work to maintain regular cover of your department

•             Promote a professional impression of our client through appropriate dress code

•             Answer phones within the standard set by the company to provide customer satisfaction

•             Meet or exceed customer expectations by maintaining an accurate and consistent approach to work

•             Ensure that your work area is kept clear and tidy to assist with effective organisation throughout the department

•             Provide cover for absent colleagues so that service standards are not adversely affected
