Travel Commercial Coordinator - London - £20k

Working for a world renowned, award-winning travel company: The role of Commercial Coordinator is to provide excellent service and support to the Global Partners sales team with regard to all travel related matters. The division currently has partners throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa, South America and Asia.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within in a truly multi-cultural and international environment.

 Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

•    Promotion of the Company's Group booking service

•    Coordinating all group requests from submission to conversion

•    Detailed analysis and benchmarking of both local and global product

•    Responsible for providing quality, error free data

•    Management Information analysis to assist in driving sales and address any product issues/gaps

•    Championing and evaluating new Air and Land products

•    Maintaining a strong Air and Land product knowledge to evaluate their relevance for Global Partners & championing their launch where relevant

•    Support of sales team through:

•    Fare and Sales analysis

•    Fare benchmarking against GDS, Website and other platforms

•    Coordination of fare proposals

•    Coordination of seat availability

•    Identifying and evaluating Land product potential

•    Assisting with the planning and execution of sales trips

•    Ad hoc tasks i.e. setting up and delivering agent Webinars, contributing to monthly newsletters and social media sites, collating and updating generic documentation, liaising withy other departments on agent and air issues, etc 

Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Competencies:

•    Highly numerate and commercially astute

•    Excellent reporting skills

•    Good analytical and problem solving skills

•    Airline/airfare knowledge

•    Experience in presenting

•    Land knowledge preferable

•    An aptitude for problem solving a must

•    Highly organised and keen attention to detail

•    Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst working under pressure and to deadlines

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•    Driven and self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

•    GDS (Amadeus) knowledge essential

•    Computer literate (Excel essential)

•    Constructively work in a team environment with a positive attitude
