Travel Consultant - North London - Up to £30,000 plus uncapped commissions OTE £45,000

 

A Travel Sales Consultant is required by our client, is a well-established independent travel company who pride themselves on offering unrivalled customer service. They are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic Leisure Travel Sales Consultant to join a vibrant and outgoing sales team. The ideal candidate will have exposure to a travel sales environment and have GDS experience.

 

The key responsibilities for the Leisure Sales Consultant are:

 

  • Manage the sales and relationship of an assigned portfolio of leisure accounts
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts as well as enrolling new clients
  • Cross selling to maximise sales opportunities
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to generate marketing collateral
  • Compile and deliver a weekly corporate newsletter
  • Handle after sales incoming calls & emails efficiently and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
  • Respond timely and professionally to cancellations and booking changes

 

The key skills required for the Leisure Sales Consultant are:

 

  • Ideally one year’s experience in travel sales
  • Comfortable working towards targets
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Proficiency in a GDS (Worldspan, Amadeus, Galileo)
  • Must have excellent written and spoken English
  • Microsoft office skills
