Travel Consultant – East Kilbride

To work within the Business Travel in-house specialised net ticket department distributing net fares across the Travel branch network and subsequently building and quality checking net fares. Building relationships and ensuring the efficient processing of all queries received.
As a Travel Consultant (BT) you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
Handling calls from internal customers in other branches across the network.
Inputting entries and quality checking of special net fares.
To provide fare quotes on specialised fares.
Following mark-up directive and distributing airline net fares
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Typify the company Vision and Values
Ensure that agreed service levels are maintained and any problems are reported to your line manager in a timely fashion
Adhere to the organisation’s policy and procedures on information security and take whatever actions are required to safeguard data and assets.
Follow health and safety guidance to ensure that you do not put yourself or any fellow employees at risk and escalate any health and safety concerns to a member of management.

Travel Consultant skill attributes:
Customer Service focussed with a positive outlook
Previous experience in a Business Travel environment
Knowledge of GDS (Galileo and Sabre) is desirable
Knowledge of CAT35 is desirable but not essential
Ability to work well in a team environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
