Travel Consultant - Australasia – Up to £25k plus commission

 

Travel Consultant (Australasia) is required by one of the UK’s leading destination specialists.  This exceptional company offer luxury once in a life time experiences to their customers and require a Tailor-made Australia / New Zealand Travel Consultant to design and deliver imaginative and inspirational holidays.

 

As Australasia Travel Specialist you will:

  • Maximise every travel lead by fielding a wide range of enquiries over the telephone, face to face, email and internet (via Live Chat)
  • Create high quality bespoke travel specific to your customers’ needs and expectations
  • Maintain an excellent degree of knowledge on the destinations and products you are selling, maintaining a commercial focus throughout
  • Achieve and aim to exceed personal, department and company sales targets
  • Aim to achieve maximum revenue possible for each booking by proactively up selling ancillary products
  • Regular follow ups to help maximise conversion and provide feedback as to non-conversion
  • Provide exceptional destination advice and general guidance to customers to assist them from first point of contact and through the booking process
  • Build and maintain a loyal customer base by managing all the customers travel requirements and to encourage repeat business
  • Ensure that a personalised and first class level of service is provided consistently to every customer
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and product development for the destinations you sell
  • The ability to ‘present’ your recommendations to your customers in a way that will influence whilst maintaining an exceptional level of attention to detail
  • Attend relevant overseas familiarization trips within your specialist destination(s) , completion of post – fam trip reports and team training within the given time frame

 

The Australasia Travel Consultant will have tour operating experience in a travel consultancy position and have exceptional knowledge of Australia / New Zealand. As a Tailor-made Travel Consultant you will have proven experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and possess a high degree of flexibility and ability to deal with deadlines.  You will have a strong sales ability, with an excellent eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a strong customer service focus.
