Travel Consultant –  Luxury Retail Travel.   Would you like to join an established, award-winning, Retail Travel Brand that focuses on serving rich and exclusive clientele? If so, this Luxury Travel Consultant role could have your name on it. Our client’s Luxury Travel Consultant position will see you offer a concierge service and create bespoke once in a lifetime trips to some of the world’s top holiday locations. Offering ultimate holidays covering Short, Mid & Long-haul destinations to the idyllic beach retreats on exotic coastlines and spontaneous worldwide city breaks, including exclusive ski resorts and handpicked luxury hotels around the world, you will craft the perfect trip, which is personalised and tailored to the precise needs of your customers. You will also sell luxury package holidays through Kuoni, Abercrombie and Kent, Cox and Kings, ITC, Carrier, Elegant Resorts, Ski Independence to name a few.

Travel Consultant Role:

  • You will be working alongside an established and supportive team of Travel Consultants and show your client’s what's possible; offer them top level travel advice and then sell them the luxury holiday that suits their precise needs, because every one of them is seeking that very perfect holiday experience
  • Put the customer at the heart of everything you do
  • Answer calls, greet customers visiting by appointment, handle e-mails enquiries
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and high command of the English language

Now Let’s Talk About You:

  • Experienced Travel Consultant from Retail Travel / Travel Agency background with a passion for luxury holidays
  • A Good sense of luxury hotel products and up market travel
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with established loyal clientele
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Resourceful and practical; can think on your feet and solve problems quickly and effectively
  • The desire and initiative to achieve and meet personal targets
  • Working knowledge of a GDS is advantages, however, our client will consider candidates without a GDS as training will be provided

The Package:

  • Our client offers a pleasant and upmarket working environment with excellent working hours, along with a fantastic remuneration package
  • The basic salary is up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus commission & benefits
  • The commission scheme in place offers 40% on sales made once you’ve made 2.5 of your salary
  • 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, with 1 half day Saturday per month, which is paid as overtime separately
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Car parking available
  • Opportunity to travel overseas on luxury Fam Trips
