This Travel Consultant role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to become an integral part of an exciting, young travel team and truly develop their career, learning and growing with the business, whilst making a name for themselves in the Travel industry.  The company specialise in luxury travel experiences with truly unique and tailor-made packages for every individual, not matter who you love.  

As Travel Consultant you will:

  • Provide a high level and unique travel consultant experience dealing with all phone and email correspondence from initial enquiry to travel end.
  • Engaging with the customer in order to ascertain the clients’ needs, budget and offer suggestions as to the perfect travel destination and itinerary
  • Building a loyal travel client base and contributing to customer retention
  • Ensuring that all tours run smoothly and successfully
  • Identifying new business opportunities with travel product and other travel suppliers
  • Using initiative in order to up-sell and cross-sell
  • Representing the luxury travel brand at networking and industry related events
  • Source product if and when a customer has a specific and unconventional request in order to create their dream itinerary
  • Creating marketing materials for brochures, newsletters and other marketing channels

The successful Travel Consultant must be a dedicated and ‘hands-on’ travel professional, who is able to adapt to and thrive in an ever expanding travel environment.  As Travel Consultant you will be an excellent communicator, great writing skills being essential as you will be updating and writing content for the company website.  You will have a deep understanding of the Travel Industry as a whole with first-hand experience of travelling outside Europe and so with and extensive knowledge of different cultures.  As an individual, the ideal Travel Consultant is a results-driven team-player, who is not afraid to get ‘stuck-in’ and is able to think on their feet and be fluid in the way in which they work.  It is essential that the successful Travel Consultant is an open-minded, progressive-thinking person who is committed to providing a sensational travel experience to each and every one of their clients, with everyone receiving the same level of personalised concierge style service.
