We are seeking an experienced Multi-Lingual Travel Consultants with either operations or reservations experience to join our clients friendly and busy sales & operations team due to success and expansion. Our client is a forward thinking and dynamic tour operator that offer various travel services for travellers throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. If you are currently working for a tour operator or a hotel in reservations or reception and seeking career progression, seeking something a little different in which you will be rewarded for your hard work, apply today!

 

This exciting role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes:

  • Handling book-outs - thorough investigation is required before approaching agents to make sure the alternative hotels are suitable and then using necessary skills to convince them to accept the relocation.
  • Finalising book-outs cases by ensuring the system is updated and relevant departments are informed.
  • Dealing with general queries such as market relates issues, duplications, incorrect coming list, group/multiple bookings, room type issues and all problems related to booking processes.
  • Assisting with online queries if/when necessary.
  • Liaising with the overseas team
  • Logging all book-outs and market losses.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience as a travel consultant, reservations, customer services or operations within a tour operator or hotel
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) and another European and /or Eastern European language such as Polish, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Czech, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese etc
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solving and organisational skills
  • Attentive to details with ability to remain focused
  • Sound knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Fluent in Spoken and written English
