Travel Customer Service Executive – Luxury Long Haul Travel – London – Up to £24k


Travel Customer Service Executive for a privately owned family travel company with over 30 years’ experience in providing affordable luxury travelAs Travel Customer Service Executive you will be joining a team of passionate travel professionals, who are committed to delivering excellence to their customers and therefore have a loyal customer base. 


As Travel Customer Service Executive you will be:

  • Handling all pre-travel and in resort queries from clients
  • Making calls to customers to follow up on a variety of issues
  • Handling inbound calls, consistently meeting and maintaining standards and goals
  • Providing expert travel advice and accurate information to customers regarding the website, booking challenges, and changes/cancellations to existing reservations
  • Following company guidelines while thinking quickly and outside the box to offer solutions to meet the customer's needs
  • Resolving queries and issues and only escalating when all options have been exhausted
  • Participating in and providing feedback during focus groups
  • Working effectively and concisely within a larger team structure to meet company goals

The ideal Travel Customer Service Executive will have strong problem solving skills and so the ability to de-escalate issues in a calm and effective manner.  You will be able to assess what the customer’s needs are and empathise with them, whilst maintaining a positive attitude at all times.  As Travel Customer Service Executive you will be articulate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  You will also possess great interpersonal skills and will therefore be able to interrelate with and positively influence others.  The successful Customer Service Executive will be a customer-focused individual, with the desire and ability to consistently provide first-rate customer service.  You will have the natural ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities within a busy environment to ensure that all tasks and customer enquiries are completed in a timely manner.  The successful Customer Service Executive will have a strong knowledge of the Travel Industry, with GDS knowledge beneficial.
