Our client is a leading leisure hotel chain and are now looking for a Field Sales Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Sales & Marketing Director and assist the team in marketing the hotels to travel agents, tour operators and directly to consumers.

The role’s main area of focus will be to perform presentations and provide training to travel agencies and tour operators across southern England, as well as attending trade roadshows, consumer events and hosted fam trips. The position is mainly a field sales role with occasional days based in the London office. 

A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the UK travel industry from a sales or marketing background is essential for the role and in return our client can offer a competitive salary of up to £32k, a 10% performance related bonus, company car and other benefits. Role of Travel Field Sales Executive:

  • Sales visits – regular sales visits to travel agents and tour operators for presentations and product training
  • Organising trade fam trips, press trips and CBH hosted events in the UK
  • Representing and selling CBH products at consumer shows and trade events
  • Sales support – assisting the Sales & Marketing Director with sales and contracting appointments
  • New business development - assisting in the research of new business from specialist tour operators and new groups business
  • Ensuring the travel trade database and the Premier agent loyalty club is effectively managed and regularly updates
  • Sending regular newsletters via email and social media to the travel trade on product updates, special offers and hosted events

Skills required for the role:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the UK travel industry from a sales or marketing background
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential
  • Well organised, creative and computer literate – Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Motivated and pro-active and able to work on your own initiative as the role requires remote working across the UK
  • Clean driving licence is essential
