Travel Industry – Retail Travel Branch Manager
To lead the team to deliver against revenue targets while delivering superb customer service to customers, whilst maximising the impact of the store, and meeting and exceeding sales targets. You will drive sales and convert bookings, and drive top line figures whilst achieving the budgeted operating profit.
You will measure the financial performance of your staff against the costs of running the store to ensure the best possible productivity, while actively championing and promoting our clients brand and values.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the store, and communicate effectively with Head of Sales keeping the Retail team up to date and any relevant issues are swiftly and acted upon, you will remain responsible for the development of fully trained, informative, highly motivated and expert staff who deliver exceptional service and revenue, and establish a highly attractive and engaging, innovative, professional and welcoming retail environment to create the ideal conditions for effective selling and industry-leading innovative customer service in keeping with the super luxury products.
You will research the local area, resident and business client bases and local competition to gain a thorough understanding of your target market and identify opportunities for developing local sales revenue and develop local marketing initiatives and campaigns; setting up in-store events where appropriate and commercially beneficial to drive sales and build relationships with loyal local clientele.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for travel especially long haul destinations, experience of managing a retail travel store, with profit and staff responsibility and a strong track record of delivering sales results and exceptional service.
You will have excellent commercial judgement, and be able to demonstrate achievements in tough sales targets.
