Travel Industry – Travel Consultant, Up to £22K, London
A leading miniple are looking for a Travel Consultant to join its highly regarded, luxury travel agency in one of London's most exclusive districts. You will be dealing with an affluent and varied clientele selling a full variety of product to worldwide destinations. Your key objectives will be to achieve agreed sales targets; convert enquires, and leads into confirmed sales through demonstrating sound product knowledge and exceptional customer service. You will be handling enquires in a number of formats, from face to face and telephone to written correspondence, where you will be responsible for managing all your sales enquiries, including airline upgrades, and take ownership of your clients complete satisfaction and that their expectations are exceeded. Your other duties will be assisting with overflow calls from other sales teams, assisting with the sales support and operational teams, and selling additional products as necessary. You will occasionally be required to represent the company at trade and consumer shows, here in the UK and overseas. To be successful in this role you will be required to have a positive 'can do' attitude, be flexible and adaptable, be able to plan and organise your time to ensure that you meet targets and deadlines with the desire and initiative to achieve and surpass targets. You will have an approachable manner with both colleagues and clients, and have a good knowledge of long haul destinations and a commercial understanding.
