Travel Industry – Travel Reservations Manager, Up to 30K plus bonus, Central London

A cutting edge and dynamic travel company is looking for a Reservations Manager to motivate, mentor and monitor the team to ensure that their sales are maximised with a view to hitting targets.  You will motivate the team to maximise the conversion of sales enquiries, making a fun place to work, helping to improve the performance of the team through effective appraisal, coaching and development.  You will monitor the output of the team to ensure it is consistent with the brand and the expectations of premium consumers and taking corrective action as appropriate. You will working with the Sales & Marketing Director to develop the sales incentive scheme to ensure the potential of the team is being maximised within available budgets, and ensure that sales and operational processes and outputs are consistent, efficient and effective constantly looking to improve the quality of the sales leads and travel experience, whilst inputting into the future development of the Reservation team to ensure that effectiveness of B2C consultants is maximised.  You will also work with the B2C and Product teams to develop new and enhanced product propositions to maximise sales and gross profit, and produce regular reporting on sales performance as required by the Sales & Marketing Director.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a track record of delivering sales success, through effective management.  You must be a good motivator - someone who can keep sales people interested given the sometimes repetitive nature of monthly targets and be a flexible manager who understands that different members of the team will respond to different stimulus, and be experienced in managing intelligent and independent individuals.  This will require you to be organised, a good listener and adaptable, with a good understanding of the travel industry, and preferably premium long haul
