£32,000+ Bonus – Maternity Cover Contract
My client is an internationally recognised travel company specialising in worldwide luxury travel.
They are seeking an experience Travel Manager to initially join on a 9-12 month contract basis covering maternity which may go permanent.
The Travel Manager will be involved in overseeing the sales (reservations), operations, business development specialists and customer service area.
The Travel Manager will monitor, improve and drive progress towards sales and reducing our operational processes time to increase our customer satisfaction levels. You will maintain staffing levels in the sales team on both a short and long term basis - to include input into recruitment, rota planning, management of and recording of absence and annual leave. You will also handle performance management of the team to include training, KPIs, ad hoc reviews, as well as annual reviews.
The Travel Manager will be conducting regular meetings and monthly 121’s and managing administration of team’s existing bookings, issuing of documentation, collection of monies and reconfirmation of departures.
The Travel Manager will also manage the day to day relationship with some of our Key customers. Helping to drive awareness and create initiatives to increase engagement within those customer groups. Leading the business development specialists to help with those activities but also using the real time feedback that they provide to change our internal processes to meet the needs of our client group.
