Travel Online Marketing Manager - London - up to £32k

This award-winning luxury Tour Operator is looking for a hands-on and experienced Online Marketing Manager who can develop and drive the online marketing strategy for their Resort brands in the UK and European markets. Using the full range on online marketing techniques, this role is key to increasing customer acquisition and retention, whilst providing an excellent ROI to help drive online conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the online channel and online marketing budget for the UK and European markets
  • Development and implementation of the online marketing strategy
  • Work with the UK media agency to develop and implement online display campaigns with leading consumer websites
  • Work closely with overseas teams to manage all UK/European website content and assist with development as needed
  • Work closely with our third-party agency to manage the booking engine, focused on improving the online customer experience and online booking conversion
  • Manage the UK affiliate programme and agencies, as well as developing strong relationships with key publishers to drive online conversion via this channel
  • Plan and manage the delivery of the UK Newsletter programme, including all pre and post-travel trigger emails
  • Work closely with overseas teams to manage the UK Social Media content, including Facebook and Twitter
  • Help manage PPC and SEO agencies
  • Actively seek, plan, develop and deliver online marketing opportunities with third party websites – developing and owning those relationships
  • Constantly monitor the performance of all brand websites (and online marketing activity) and own the analytics for all websites, reporting on them as required
  • Check all online content that is produced (in house and third party) to ensure information is on brand and accurate
  • Become a brand advocate and develop an in-depth understanding of brand values

Essential Skills

  • 2-5 years’ experience in online marketing practices, with good knowledge of the latest trends and best practice
  • 2-5 years’ people management experience
  • Strong experience with web analytics solutions (e.g. Google Analytics, Webtrends etc.) and reporting
  • Confident to build strong relationships and have a hands-on approach to driving change
  • Strong communicator who works well as part of a team,
  • Ability to work well under pressure and has the ability to project manage and multi task
