Travel Sales Consultant
Working as a travel sales consultant for one of the fasting growing online travel agencys in the UK will be joining an already successful team of travel passionate people and have at least 2 years experience in travel sales.
Sell holidays and ancillary products to callers, ensuring excellent customer service tailored to the customers needs and profitability for the business.
To up-sell at all opportunities to increase the GP per booking.
To ensure that an excellent standard of customer service is delivered.
Follow up on all leads to ensure all opportunities to convert are maximised.
Answer and follow up on all calls, emails, chat and social media messages from customers, in order to sell holidays and ancillary products.
Ensuring a minimum of 1 extra/ upgrade is offered on each enquiry and booking.
Achieve above average scores in call evaluations for enquiries and bookings.
Relevant documentation for bookings dispatched to the customer within 1 hour after the booking is confirmed.
Exceed customer expectations wherever possible.
Active participation in the regular in house and supplier sales incentives.
Achieve departmental objectives relating to KPI’s, productivity, sales performance, product knowledge and attendance.
Assist in the training and development of new staff, to include buddying, system and product knowledge.
Attend organised training sessions, in house or at external venues and participate in overseas visits as required.
