Travel Sales Manager - London - up to £31k basic incl travel bonus + up to £37k OTE

This large independent UK Tour Operator offer ski holidays in the top resorts of Europe and North America. They are passionate about their product and proud of their ethos of being able to offer their holidays to suit every budget. They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager, based in their London offices who will be responsible for:

  • hitting sales and revenue targets for all products through the recruitment, development and monitoring of Sales Teams to ensure the timely induction training, monitoring and motivation of sales team whilst delivering high standards of customer service.
  • the day-to-day management of the sales and after sales teams to ensure that sales performance and conversion rates for incoming calls, emails and live chat are monitored and targets met whilst delivering high standards of customer care.
  • initiating, implementing and monitoring incentives and commission programme in line with departmental budgets and targets.
  • initiating and reporting on proactive sales campaigns, customer satisfaction and service levels and for delivering training to improve performance and maintain motivation.
  • delivering upsell campaigns at point of sale and post booking for all products and reporting on performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • trouble-shooting, problem solving and liaising with clients and agents with regards to chalet changes and booking issues.
  • working closely with Sales Seniors/Team Leaders, responsible for ensuring high levels of product knowledge, ensuring the timely production and distribution of sales support information and product updates within the sales department.
  • responsible for making recommendations for fluid pricing, assisting in the production of late availability and distribution of agent prices/information in order to maximise income.
  • the development and analysis of sales reports in order to maximise proactive and reactive sales team performance for all products.
  • maintaining high levels of product knowledge for all programmes in order to ensure crossing selling and upselling opportunities are maximised.
  • As part of the management team joint responsibility for duty cover over weekends and holidays and acting as a member of the crisis management team in the event of a major incident

A normal week (5 days) includes Saturday and Sundays. Shifts will be on a rota basis and spread between 8.30 and 19.30. There will also be nights away from home for promotional events or educationals.
