The sales manager must have solid management experience within the travel industry with a proven and consistent track record of delivering results. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Manage the department strategy to maximise revenue from a strong sales and customer service focus
- Lead, develop and motivate the sales team
- Consistently manage, deliver, monitor and improve KPI's within budget
- Providing hands on support and effective leadership
- Ensuring prompt and effective response to all leads and enquiries
- Monitoring staff performance against KPI's and personal targets
- Maximising conversion by promoting strong selling techniques
- Consistently coaching and training new and existing sales staff

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven sales and people management skills within the travel industry
- Strong Leadership skills
- Hands on travel sales experience

THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary plus bonus. This role includes shift work including weekends.
