Our client is a bespoke luxury travel company that offers bespoke travel in the exotic Greek Islands. Due to remarkable growth they are now seeking a Travel Sales, Product & Guest Relations Consultant to join their friendly and busy team. This successful and dynamic travel organsiation offers career development, generous bonus and an exciting varied role within a forward thinking company. This is role ideal for a travel sales professional not only seeking a sales role but an opportunity to grow into a product / marketing position.

Each day will not be the same

  • Product development to help source new and exciting properties
  • Dealing with external agents and keeping any prices up to date, alerting them to changes in product and including locating new agents
  • Working closely with the marketing and BD team to acquire new properties through strategic advertising, building connections & maintaining and chasing leads
  • Looking after high net worth clients from their initial call to their arrival date on holiday
  • Converting enquiries into bookings from telephone and online leads as well as managing the online booking system
  • Managing post sales administration including reviews &customer queries and complaints
  • Liaising with property owners and managers both in the UK and abroad
  • Creating and maintaining supplier relations
  • Manage all marketing channels to ensure all information is correct – changing pricing, photos and local information where necessary so it aligns with all marketing & press activity

 

Essential Requirements

  • Have experience working in sales and guest relations within a tour operator or travel agency for a luxury UK market
  • Have an impeccable telephone manner
  • Be able to demonstrate attention to detail in their work
  • Be looking to develop their career
  • Motivated and excited by the travel business
  • Be able to think on their feet and creatively
