Travel Telesales Advisor based in Sussex, £16k basic + excellent OTE

Working in large new modern offices for a niche travel organisation who specialise in the sale and creation of  tours worldwide.
You will introduce by telephone the Companies products to potential customers and to schedule appointments and obtain quote requests for the different business units. You may also be required to assist in the sales process by filtering inbound website enquiries and as requested contacting existing key accounts with the objective to cross sell.

  • Identify prospective new customers for the Company travel product
  • Cold call telemarketing and lead generation
  • Schedule appointments for members of the business development teams across the different business units
  • Use of other sales methods
  • Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge
  • Attend product and skills training and utilise this training to enhance appointment setting and obtaining quote requests

Person Specification:

  • Interest and passion for  Travel
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proven success in a sales driven environment
  • Target driven
  • Being highly motivated and used to working within a driven team environment
  • Resilient and self-motivated
  • Adaptable communication skills and developed sales skills such as persuasion, influencing, consultative, organisation and prioritisation
  • Good working understanding of office IT products including MS word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Powerpoint.
