Our York-based client are a leading independent Travel organisation and they’re looking for Telesales or Business Development Executives with a confident, professional telephone manner for a fantastic Travel Telesales Executive role! Or perhaps you’re an experienced Travel Sales professional looking to move toward more of an account management role? The main focus of this newly-created position is new business generation - identifying and developing new opportunities, cold-calling, building rapport and arranging appointments for the Sales Director with a wide range of corporate clients. You’ll also be responsible for handling web, email and social media enquiries so experience with LinkedIn and other social media is essential. For the successful candidate, our client is offering a competitive starting salary of up to £25k plus excellent company and industry benefits and as this is a brand new role, there is also huge scope to further develop the position in the longer term.
