UK Product Manager – Up to £30K – Central London

 Are you passionate about golf? Do you spend most of your weekends on undulating fairways? Would you like to visit the best golf resorts in the world while working at the same time? If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, keep on reading because a market leading travel company is looking for a UK (Senior) Product Manager to manage key accounts and negotiate terms, travel promotions and allocations, liaising with various departments to secure delivery. As a UK Product Manager, who will be working for a niche travel company, they require you to have strong commercial understanding and be highly self-motivated.

As a UK Product Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking full control of allocated destinations, ensuring continued successful delivery
  • Monitoring availability and sourcing alternative options where appropriate
  • Ensuring we remain travel industry market leaders by successfully negotiating the strongest commercial terms with suppliers on behalf of the company
  • Delivering presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Creating and monitoring budgets for areas of responsibility, adapting where necessary to respond to unforeseen circumstances
  • Seeking and identifying new additions to the company’s product, ensuring suitability guidelines are adhered to
  • Working closely with other areas of the business; organising the planning and delivery of offers/rates for associated marketing campaigns

 

As a UK Product Manager, you will have strong negotiating skills and interpersonal skills. You will be a self-starter with great time management and be very target focused. You will also have a flexible approach to travel where the business requires and advanced knowledge of Microsoft office and Google Docs.

The successful UK Product Manager will have and have a strong passion for golf and at least three year’s experience in sales (or negotiation) within a golf resort. They also require three year’s experience in account management and experience in working with internal and external stakeholders.
