Travel company specialising in developing global product development services and ERP solutions is looking for a proven sales manager to increase its established client base. The responsibilities of the sales manager will be to identify prospects and market opportunities. You will generate new business opportunities within the travel and hospitality sectors selling software service solutions using old / new contacts. You will be involved from development through to implementation and delivery ensuring a smooth migration. You will follow up on direct sales leads. You will manage customer database developing ideas and creating mail campaigns to major accounts. You will establish and compile intelligence on customer applications and generate competitor intelligence. You will be involved in designing and producing marketing collateral for exhibitions and Press Releases. You will attend trade shows, events and meetings.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of generating sales working within the travel industry selling integrated and service solutions. He/she will be articulate with good communication skills. You will have experience working with offshore processes. You will have experience selling to midsize and large blue chip clients. He/she will be able to write business proposals, quotations and communicate with senior company executives.
