SUPPLIER RELATIONS MANAGER

We are recruiting for a SUPPLIER RELATIONS MANAGER for our client, a leading travel management company in the Middle East. This role will be based within its Kuwait offices.
The main duties of the role include:
Negotiating with international hotel chains and airlines; the objective being to build client
partnerships and increase company revenue streams
Analyse opportunities throughout the region, adding value to existing client relationships
Driving down air and hotel accommodation costs through strong negotiations skills
Being part of the online booking project team and other related projects
Building sourcing models to be used throughout the clients international community
Candidates for this Supplier Relations Manager position should have the following skills and experience:
At least 8 years experience in a similar supplier relations role with the corporate travel industry
(at least 2 of which must have been gained within the Arabian Gulf/GCC)
Familiar with corporate travel environments within the GCC
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Knowledge of online booking tools
Superb negotiations skills
Solid communication and presentation skills
Project management skills
